Mehek Oram
HIGH RISK: Mehek's father died of a heart attack. Her mother earns less than $25 per month as a day laborer working in paddy (rice) fields. They live in a mud house that lacks basic facilities. Her mother heard about GNI and came to our director, asking if her daughter could stay with us to get an education. Now Mehek is thriving, receiving a good education and dreams of being a nurse.
