Muluk Chand Murmu
Muluk's grandfather is a leper but that stigma affects his entire family; all are shunned. Father, Narad is a laborer earning less than $50/mo. Our GNI director heard about the boy and with permission, brought him to live and study at our City of Refuge for lepers and their children~ grandchildren. Baby sis. stays with Mom who works in the paddy (rice) fields. Muluk's dream is to be a doctor.
