Sabitri's father passed away due to fever. Her mother is a day laborer; earning less than $35 per month. Their family home has mud walls and an asbestos roof. Her mother heard about GNI and asked the director to help Sabitri. Now she is thriving and getting a good education. Her dream is to be a nurse.
