Sital Marandi
Sital's grandfather suffers from leprosy and the stigma of his disease, though treatable, affects the whole family. Her father, Ruben, is a neglectful alcoholic who doesn't work and seldom is home. Mother, Champa, is unable to provide food, clothing, or education for her kids. Now safe in our care, Sital and her sister, Salini are free to live and study without prejudice or concerns. Her dream is to be a teacher.
