HIGH RISK: Ambika's father left to work out of state but does not send money back to their family. Her mother is a maidservant earning about $8 per month. They live in a small mud hut with a straw roof. Because they were destitute, Ambika's mother brought her and her brother Sidhanta to us in 2013. Now she is thriving and receiving a good education. Her dream is to be a nurse.
