HIGH RISK - Renuka's father, Samir, is suffering from TB, a highly contagious but treatable disease. Her mother, Binita, is a tea field labourer earning about $37 per month. She is not able to provide basic needs for Renuka and her younger sisters as well as medicine for her husband. Binita came to us for help with Renuka. Now in our care, all her needs are met and she currently dreams of becoming a doctor.
