Shibani's father is deceased. Her mother Brundabati works in the rice "paddy fields" as a day laborer, earning less than $12 per month. The family dwelling consists of mud walls and a palm leaf roof. Shibani has 3 adult sisters. One of them heard about our GNI Dream Center and came to director asking for help for Shibani. Now this young girl is thriving and receiving a good education. Shibani's dream is to be a doctor someday.
