GNI has another dream center close to Darjeeling that will house 80+ girls. These Oriental girls are high-value targets of pedophiles and traffickers. But we have a network of people that help us to identify young girls at risk of being taken away. Factors such as an absentee father, deep poverty and boys in the family set up the situation where the girls are taken away to “be trained as domestic help”, but in reality are trafficked out to Mumbai, Delhi or Kolkata. Our goal is to rescue at least 1000+ girls from the “death sentence” of being trafficked out.
