Laxman’s father passed away from kidney failure, and now his mother, Diyugi, supports the family. Diyugi works as a laborer at construction sites, earning only $35 per month for a family of five. She struggles to provide for them sufficiently. When she learned about us, she asked us to take her sons, Laxman and Dasha, into our GNI home, while their sisters, Jamuna and Suru, stayed at home.
